Mothers Day

On May 11, we gathered together as a community to celebrate the cherished occasion of Mother's Day with a heartfelt Mass. The atmosphere during the service was filled with an overwhelming sense of joy and gratitude, as we took a moment to honor the incredible women who have played such significant roles in our lives. The Mass was thoughtfully designed to reflect the spirit of love and appreciation that we hold for our mothers, both those who are present with us in this world and those who have passed on, leaving behind cherished memories and legacies.

During the service, we offered special intentions, a sacred time where we lifted up our voices in prayer for our mothers. This included heartfelt prayers for those mothers who are still with us, nurturing and guiding us, as well as for those who have departed but continue to live on in our hearts and minds. The community came together in a beautiful display of unity, as we recognized the profound impact that mothers have on our lives, shaping our values and supporting us through life's challenges.

In addition to the prayers, we provided a special intention box at the front of the church. This box was set up for parishioners to deposit the names of their mothers, whether living or deceased, so that we could remember them in our thoughts and prayers during the upcoming novena. This act of sharing names not only serves to honor individual mothers but also strengthens the bonds within our parish community, as we collectively acknowledge the importance of motherhood and the myriad ways it touches our lives.

Looking ahead, we are excited to announce an upcoming bilingual novena scheduled for Tuesday, May 20. This novena will be a dedicated time of prayer for all the mothers of our parish, allowing us to come together once again to reflect on the love and sacrifices made by mothers in our lives. The bilingual aspect of the novena ensures that all members of our diverse community can participate fully, regardless of their primary language, fostering inclusivity and unity among us. We invite everyone to join in this sacred time of prayer, as we seek blessings for our mothers and express our gratitude for the love they have bestowed upon us.
